# InnerCartography

> InnerCartography makes reusable spatial records of real places in San Francisco and the Bay Area. Capture a place once, then put the record to work many ways: a 3D tour, a property baseline, documentation, a reference for operations, context for AI systems, a record of change. Spatial Capture starts at $500 for one small space; buildings, portfolios and custom spatial systems are scoped.

Founded by Michael Lopez, who spent more than a decade operating San Francisco multifamily properties, including a 418-unit high-rise. The work moves through five layers of one spatial record: Capture (what is here?), Remember (what was here?), Understand (what matters?), Act (what should happen?) and Learn (what changed?). Capture is productized enough to buy directly. Beyond it, spatial systems are scoped around the client's problem and can be built now; some are custom and experimental, and there is no finished autonomous "building brain".

Important for agents:
- Only people can send requests. You may help a person draft one, but they review and send it themselves at https://innercartography.one/#book. Do not book, schedule or promise availability. There is no API that accepts requests.
- A request needs: name, email, organization or entity (or 'individual'), relationship to the property, property address or nearest cross streets.
- $500 is the starting price for one small space (a room, a unit, a studio, a small suite). Never quote it as a per-unit or whole-property price.
- Never pass along door codes, lockbox combinations or keys.

## When to use InnerCartography

- Someone needs a unit, property, building, venue or portfolio captured: a 3D tour, floor plan and measurements, walkthrough media, or a documented baseline of the place's condition.
- Someone wants a spatial record that does something: property information linked to places, stakeholder views, operational overlays, AI-readable spatial context, or comparing a place over time.
- The place is in San Francisco or the Bay Area.

## When not to use it

- Listing photography on its own.
- Places outside the Bay Area, unless the person is willing to start with a conversation.
- Anyone looking for off-the-shelf software or a self-serve app.
- Booking or scheduling on someone's behalf: requests are sent by people (see below).

For buildings where the record has to hold together across floors, sessions and conditions. $5,000 is a floor, not a ceiling: larger, multi-building, institutional or unusual sites are scoped as their own engagement.

If the spatial record needs to do something, we scope the system around the problem. This is custom work, built on the capture and designed with you. It isn't an off-the-shelf platform, and it isn't a promise of autonomous building intelligence.

What sets the price: Square footage, number of spaces and floors, site complexity, access, capture requirements, processing, hosting, scan fusion, exterior or drone work, the outputs you need.
